So you have decided to start yoga
This class is for you if you are new to yoga, haven’t practiced in a while, or that you didn’t practice regularly. It focuses on poses to stretch and strengthen the legs, back, core and shoulders. It includes pose modifications to accommodate different levels of flexibility, and longer breath counts between poses to allow plenty of time to transition correctly and safely into each pose. My role as a yoga teacher is to guide and inspire you in your personal practice, where you can continue practicing through your life. No experience needed and all levels are welcome. I invite you to practice with a positive and grateful attitude. If you are growing through your yoga and love doing it, then it’s working.

Yoga is fundamentally a deep personal practice. This class will help you to develop and build on a foundation of yoga using the Hatha Yoga tradition. Using the breath as an essential element, you will move safely through seated, standing and balancing poses. This will help tone and strengthen your body, improve stamina, flexibility and mobility, promote mental clarity. It will also stimulate the relaxation response that can help eliminate anxiety and stress, leaving you in Total Harmony of mind, body & spirit.
