Calm the mind and body with this soothing Yoga and guided Mindfulness class – what a combination?!

The style we practice it’s called “Hatha yoga” and refers to a set of physical exercises (asanas) designed to align the muscles and bones and open the many energy channels of the body, especially the spine, so that energy can flow freely.

Hatha yoga is intended to create a balance of strength and flexibility in the body as well as a balance of effort and surrender in each asana. A powerful tool for self-transformation, Hatha yoga requires that one pay special attention to the breath, which helps calm the fluctuations of the mind. This allows the practitioner to become more present in the unfolding of each moment, resulting in more awareness and relaxation.

These gentle yoga classes are structured around rejuvenating and healing the body. They combine positive thinking, yoga postures, mindful breathing and meditation. During the class, you will be guided to mindfully and consciously notice thoughts, feelings, and sensations.  You will leave feeling nourished, well rested and refreshed; with a new cultivated awareness and clarity.

No yoga or meditation experience is needed and all levels are welcome.

Every Monday from  20h10-21h15.
Dates in 2017 : 09, 16, 23, 30 January / 06, 27 February /  06, 13, 20, 27 March / 03 April.

Classes are in English, further explanations can be given in French.
